Right of withdrawal

This notice is governed by German law. The English version is a translation for convenience. In case of doubt, the German version applies.

This notice applies to consumers, meaning any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession. Entrepreneurs acting in the course of their business have no right of withdrawal.

What this means in our case

The Smart CFO Check and the ongoing support are free of charge for you, so you take on no payment obligation. A statutory right of withdrawal presupposes a service for consideration and therefore has no practical effect here: there is nothing to pay and consequently nothing to refund. In any case you can end the cooperation at any time, informally and without giving a reason.

Should we offer a paid service at a distance in future, for example a paid product, the following notice applies to consumers.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

by means of a clear statement, for example by email, of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In no event will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement.

Early expiry for services

If you requested that the service should begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you communicated your withdrawal, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

Early expiry for digital content

The right of withdrawal expires early in the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if

• you have expressly consented to us beginning performance of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period, and
• you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins.
